...keep your head down out there, okay?

I will. Regards to your family, Enoch.

[The hustle and bustle of hunters checking out for the day fades behind Trevor Belmont as he departs the local hunting lodge. On the sidewalk to his right, there's a group of disgruntled locals rallying around one of the many anti-Scorched posters scattered across the city. The vampire hunter's snort is disgusted. But resigned.]

T'would seem some of us are destined to live with such bigotry all our lives.

[A glance over his shoulder at the receding lodge.]

But I wouldn't say that of all our neighbors. There are those who'd rather judge one on his merits and character rather than where he comes fro---

BRING HIM DOWN!

TIE HIM UP!

What the Devil---?

[The shouting from the Marketplace up ahead piques his curiousity and inspires a detour. Rounding the corner, Trevor's confronted with a blood-curdling sight. One that pales his face and makes him drop the supplies he'd been on his way home with. It's a young man trussed in ropes and chains, struggling to free himself of his Native captors even as they launch themselves at him with clubs in hand. Their blows land on his face and shoulders as if he were some mass murderer they'd finally captured after a long hunt. But that's no murderer.]

[It's Rex Salazar.]

...REX?! NO!

[Those of you who look back on this transmission in the days ahead will realize you'v only seen Trevor Belmont this furious, this frightened once before. And that was when Yachiru Kusajishi took a beating at Bellatrix Lestrange's hands.]

You who can hear this: those hellions have Rex Salazar. And they're not holding back. Help me save him!

[Video and audio fade to a mumbled "Stand fast, lad." and footsteps looking to outrun Death itself.]

((OOC: Leading into this, of course. Since Remus is already there and keeping the mob at bay, Trevor and anyone who responds will... probably be backup to see they get out fine. Well, assuming no apparates of course. ^^))
