[ shirley stands with her back to roxas, as she brightens a lamp on the wall. how long has she been there? hard to say - she's visited roxas's room often, and normally, her breaks for reading take place elsewhere; since his coma, she's been reading next to his bed. ]

Several wanted to kill each elf for their culture and for the actions of a few.

["Culture" is a very vague word for him, and the statement itself brings up a lot more questions. However, he doesn't think of asking them because Shirley's just acting so...strange. Of course he's immediately concerned when she sits beside him, and a silent moment passes before Roxas covers her hands with one of his.]
