[Your name is Nagi, and currently you've woken up in the hospital and everything is pain. You can't open one eye. You can't move.

Your mother--a famous actress-- and your father--an assistant manager from a famous overseas company--are talking outside the room.]

Dear, Nagi was in a car accident.

Thanks to her, one of my business talks was ruined.

That girl... she tried to save a cat. They said it was too late for several of her organs, and her right eye. She can't be saved. [She doesn't sound too terribly upset; annoyed, perhaps, but not the grief a mother should feel when they're about to lose their only child.]

Hey... The doctor said she could be saved if they transplant organs of the same blood type.

You've got to be kidding me! [She's angry now.] I'm not going to have them cut me open for that girl!

What are you saying!? She's your child, whom you brought with you! [Your father sounds bewildered, disapproving.]

Ever since she was a little child, that girl has never made any friends. Nor can anyone work out what she's thinking, even me! She's never became close to you either, has she!? [She pauses, then continues with venom] It's not just me. No one wished for that child to stay alive this long!

Hey, Nagi can hear you!

She's in the ICU. She can't hear me.

...Anyway, I'm heading back to the office. Do whatever you want.

Dear! Stop!

I'm busy.

[You hear their footsteps fade. Your stepfather was right; you could hear everything. You're not really surprised by anything they said.

It's strange. I can hear it all. You think. I'm going to die. You can't bring yourself to really feel afraid. I feel a little relieved. It'll finally be over.

You close your eye and prepare to wait.

Another voices, different and alien and unmistakably male cuts through your mind.]

It won't end. You'll simply keep wandering.

Who are you? [You think back, trying to find the source of the voice]

Oh? You can hear my voice?

[You blink and look aside. As you do the hospital room fades and you find yourself in a paradise. Lush grass, beautiful trees and clear skies. A pleasant breeze flows through. Suddenly uninhibited by the machinery that had been keeping you alive (but feeling no worse for wear. In fact, you felt good as new, as if the accident had never happened), you sit up, drawing the sheets to your naked body.

You stare at the boy before you. He looks only a couple years older than your 13 year old self, but there's a feeling like he's lived through thousands of them]

Who...What are you?

Kufufu... It seems taking a walk has led me to something. [His lips curve, as if he's found something interesting to examine] Perhaps you and I are the same kind of person.

[The scene changes then. It seems to cut forward an indiscernible amount of time. You stand in the paradise again, a white summer dress on your body and your hair covering your missing eye.]

Nagi. [You turn, trying to locate him though his voice seems to be coming from everywhere and nowhere] Nagi... Over here.

[You turn, and he's materialized behind you.

You wait patiently to hear what he has to say]

Nagi, I need you.

[You're startled. No one's ever needed you before, for anything]

You need me?

[He nods, once, and holds out his hand. You don't hesitate, reaching out to grasp it.

A contract, a bond has been formed. His power--his illusions--create your organs to keep you living, and he can exist through you; he'll teach you to hone your own power, create your own illusions and how to fight. In exchange he can possess you if need be to interact with the outside world.

He's somewhere locked up, very deep and very cold where no light reaches him. You are his only means of communication and interaction with the world.

As long as you live that man, Mukuro Rokudo, will exist. As long as he exists, you will live.

But 'Nagi' dies that day; you leave her behind.

Kuromu (Chrome) Dokuro--an anagram of the name of the man who gave you purpose--is born.]

((OOC: it's officially the 16th here and I'm REALLY EXCITED to do this so. yeah. Sob. Pink was Chrome's mom, blue was her dad, the dark blue/almost purple is Mukuro. If you have trouble reading any of the fonts lemme know and I'll see what I can do!!))
