A couple of weeks ago I rode the STP. This is an annual Seattle To Portland bicycle ride where 9,000 people ride 205 miles and spend a lot of time wondering why they decided to ride 205 miles on their bicycle. And here is what I learned

When I spent part of a summer hiking in the Rockies, I learned that a) I could get a tent up or down in pouring rain in under 2 minutes and b)now that I knew how to get a tent up or down in pouring rain in under 2 minutes, I really had no desire to repeat the experience, although I'm glad I did it.

Sounds like the STP was a little like that. :-)

I was pretty impressed that you did it as all.
