I find myself wondering, often, about the other lives. The lives I'd be living at all those other schools I could have chosen. The people I could have known there, the things I could have done ( Read more... )

Nah, overdramatic would be like :MY LIEF SUXORZ HER3!!!1! I NEEDS DA CH4NEG TO A 1337ER PLAEC, LIKE *canadian cities*!!!11!1!11

and by overdramatic I of course mean stupid and half-ass 'net-lingo'. The two often coincide. That's a fun little fact for ya.

I often find myself wondering what it's like other places also...

Thank God I'm a country boy? anonymous December 10 2005, 16:57:47 UTC
Mmm. I kinda see where you're coming from, but I gotta say the people aren't the same everywhere. There are some people even in River Falls that I've never seen anywhere else. The ratio of "normal people," which is of course your average college kid (I think we probably agree on the definition of average college kid), is about the same as it is here. But because you live in a city, there are a shit-ton of college kids. There are more "unique" people there, but I think that it's easier to find one flag in 5 sq. km than it is to find 5 flags in 25 sq. km. Either way, if you look long enough, you're bound to find something ( ... )

It's the people I miss in RF. Not the place. Thing is, there are great people everywhere, but it takes a while to find them. Took me nearly two years to find awesome people in RF.
I think that was the thing I was half getting at but not quite.. While there are 'typical' and superficial people everywhere, there are also cool people everywhere too.

So yeah. I dunno.

OH and London's really only a half-city. It's kind of a wannabe big city. *shrug*

you'd still be a hypocrit, eh? thats two blogs about being a hypocrit. what gives, yo? i think i remember thinking the same thing last year... (about myself, not you :D) but i think everyone's got a little bit o' hypocrit in them at times. some a little more than others, some a little less. but i think you're one of the little less than others. and while i know we're not best of friends forever and ever, i think i got a pretty good read on this one...

as i ramble on. and on. and on. i would like to say that carly is cool shit. and trust me, when shit is cool, damn is it cool! so whatever it is that has got you all in a fuss, i'm sure it's alright. of all the adjectives out there, hypocritical is definitely not the first one that pops into my mind when describing you.
