Wow, that's an amazing quote.
It reminded me of a book called 'The Coma' by Alex Garland. He wrote The Beach, and wrote the screenplay for 28days later (i love that movie - zombies are great)

I love 28 Days Later! I heard they're making a sequel...Yeah the book is pretty amazing at times. It's about this woman's who is dying of cancer finally realizing that there are all these horrible things happening in South Africa. I think I know what you mean. Some days it really almost seems like the sky is falling.
