Temari paid me a surprise visit the other day. Can't say it was a very warm visit but it didn't end badly. That evening I had a nice long talk with Deidara. Sometimes it's good to have at least one friend....

Sakura... i miss you....

OOC: Andrea! You going to post the Sasori Temari thing cause I totally lost it DX

Sasori stood out in the backyard looking up at the stars. His long trench coat kept him warm in the chill air and he dug his hands deeper into the pockets.

Deidara peeks his head out the door, being cautious after pissing off Sasori earlier. "Have you cool down yet yeah?"

Sasori turned his head lazily toward Deidara, tilting it slightly over his shoulder. "Why?"

"I was wondering if it was safe to come out here yeah." Deidara steps out from behind the door, stuffing his hands into he jacket pockets.

"I'm not going to bite you, if that's what you're worried about," he turned his gaze back to the stars. The sky was clear and you could get a good view.

"Well that's good yeah." Deidara goes to stand next to him and looks up at the stars. "So how have you been doing?"

He shrugged. "Alright." A little bit of a breeze blew through ruffling their hair.

Deidara nods and continues to look up at the sky, shivering a little as the breeze comes through. "That's good. How's Sakura and the baby doing yeah?"

Sasori's brow furrowed and he looked to the grass, watching it wave back and forth. "She's fine...and so is the baby I'm assumeing." He dug his foot beneath a mushroom and kicked it up out of the ground.

"That's good yeah" He continues to look up at the sky.

Sasori removed a gloved hand from his pocket and proceeded to hit Deidara in the back of the head with force.

"OW!" Deidara's head gets knocked forward. Rubbing the back of his head he turns to the shorter boy. "What was that for yeah?!"

"For locking me out of the room earlier," he said calmly looking forward.

Deidara sighs still rubbing the back of his head. "Ok I'm sorry about that yeah."

"I'm sure you are," he looked at Deidara out the corner of his eye.

Deidara rolls his eyes and goes back to looking up at the stars.

Sasori proceeded to calmly kick Deidara's legs out from under him. He crouched low from the roundhouse.

"Ack!" Deidara falls flat on his back and grimaces in pain. "Ok... What the Hell was that for yeah!?"

"For biting my hand," he sneered. He held it up showing the bite mark still there.

"But it's not the hand that feeds me so it is okay yeah." Deidara grins up at him, still laying on the ground. Sometimes he just can't help pushing Sasori's buttons

"What the hell?" Sasori stood up from the ground looking at Deidara irritably. "Don't you ever bite me again, you little brat."

Deidara chuckles and sits up. "Chill all right? I only bit you is self defense yeah. You are so easy to get excited sometimes yeah."

"I'll excite you," he growled his irritation now fully revealed from its hiding place.

Deidara smirks thinking that this was too easy. "Sorry. Only Tenten can do that yeah."

Oh? So he wanted to play that way, Sasori smirked. "That's not what you said before," he quipped.

Deidara frowns a little. "I'm over that now yeah. My days of imagining you naked under me are over."

Sasori winced a little, Deidara took him a bit too seriously but his remark strangely hurt a little. He didn't know why though, Deidara was his brother, or might as well been. Maybe it was just the thought of being desired that he entertained himself with. "I was just kidding," he said slowly looking away into the darkness.

Deidara grins and chuckles a little. "I knew that would get a reaction out of you some how yeah."
scorpianvanity: Sasori closed his eyes and grit his teeth with a slight smirk, cue giant anime vein. "You little shit..."

Deidara begins to laugh at that. "And proud of it yeah!" Still laughing he lays back down on the grass and goes back to looking up at the stars.

He should have known Deidara would pull a trick like that. The jerk, he walked over to where the boy was and looked down at him, contemplating if he should kick him in the side.

Deidara looks up at Sasori and smiles. "Loosen up yeah. You can be so up tight sometimes."

Instead of kicking Deidara, he turned and plopped down in the grass beside him, laying back with his arms behind his head. "Meh..."

Deidara smirks and turns back to the stars. "Nice night yeah?"

Even though his eyes were open and looking up at the stars, Sasori's true focus was inside thinking about everything that had happened this past month. "Yeah..." he said slowly.

Deidara side glances at Sasori and then turns back up to the stars. "Anything on your mind yeah?"

"No," he lied still looking up.

"You're lying yeah..." he replies still looking up at the sky.

"You always say that," he replied closeing his eyes.

"And most of the time I'm right." Deidara props himself up on one elbow to look at Sasori. "Besides any normal guy would have a lot on his mind if they were in your place yeah."

"We've all been through a lot this month," he looked down toward his waist. The silvery buckles reflected the moonlight brightly.

Sighs and turns back to the stars. "I think that is an understatement yeah..."

"What's on your mind," he said switching it around.

Deidara shrugs still looking up at the stars. "Just me and Tenten yeah."

"What about it?"

Deidara smiles softly to himself. "Just that she is the first person that I have ever said 'I love you' to yeah."

"How sickeningly sweet," he quipped.

Deidara elbows Sasori. "Then don't ask next time yeah. I'm just saying that things are serious with her.

"I'm afraid of getting tied down," he randomly admitted out of thin air after Deidara nudged him.

Deidara blinks down at Sasori. "Eh? Will that is not much of a surprise since we are still young but don't tell me you are thinking about leaving Sakura yeah?

"I wouldn't do that," he said slowly. "But I really wish she had not gotten pregnant."

Deidara sighs and hugs his knees to his chest. "It happens when you are not careful. Just don't chicken out as soon as the kid is born, yeah." Deidara's voice is dead serious about this.

Deidara shakes his head but doesn't look at Sasori. "Then don't look at it that way. Look at it as having something that can only be shared between you two yeah. A work of art that you created with her. You will only betray her if you leave her."

Sasori chuckled. "A work of art? What if it's ugly?"

Deidara gives Sasori a look that says 'you have got to be kidding me.' "Between you and Sakura, how could it be ugly yeah?"

"It could look like granny," he turned his head and looked at Deidara with a light hearted smile.

Deidara shudders a little. "But your granny is old so how she looks now doesn't count yeah."

He shrugged. "I still have another," he thinks for a moment. "8 months before I see it..."

Deidara nods. "That's true. Those are going to be a long 8 months too yeah."

He sighed.

After some silence Deidara finally spoke. "So does this make me an uncle yeah?" A grin came across his face.

"Sure," he replied dryly.

Deidara raises a brow at Sasori's tone. "What's with that tone yeah?"

"Hmm?" He rolled over on his side and leaned up on his elbow. "What do you mean?"

"Just sounded like you were not to thrilled about the idea of me being the uncle yeah."

"Hmm.. I don't mind," he watched Deidara curiously.

Deidara shrugs and looks off into the distance.

"You look like something is on your mind," he stated still watching the blonde.

Deidara shrugs. "It's nothing important yeah. Not even worth dwelling on."

He pokes him in the shoulder. "You make me tell you things. So speak."

Deidara sighs and frowns a bit. "I'm just thinking about my own father yeah."

"Oh," Sasori looked down the grass and started picking at it.

Deidara turns back to the stars, relieved that Sasori is not pushing for more information for once.

"Anything else?" he didn't bother looking up. He had a nice handful of grass by this point.

"Nothing really yeah." Deidara still dazing at the sky. It was a really nice night out.

Sasori took the fist of grass and poured it all over Deidara's face.

"Hey!" Deidara brushes the grass out of his face. "What was that for you jack ass yeah?"

"Because it amuses me," he stated plainly,

"You find the strangest things amusing yeah."

"Don't get any ideas but," he laid back on the grass again with a sigh. "What the hell did you ever see in me?"

Deidara shrugs. "Kind of hard to say since I started falling for you back in high school yeah."

Sasori laughed. "You like the nerds."

Deidara frowns. "Yes I had a thing for nerds. It was a fetish yeah."

"Why are you frowning?" He raised his brows.

Deidara waves his hand and smiles a little. "Nothing don't worry about it yeah."

"Talk to me." He demanded more so than asked.

"Don't wanna yeah" Deidara turns on his side, his back to Sasori.

"Why not?" Sasori's brow furrowed and a frown formed on his lips.

"I just don't want to yeah."

"So I have to tell you everything, but when I ask you to talk to me about things, you don't have to talk," Sasori nodded his head. "I see how it is."

Deidara sighs. "If you really wanted to know why I feel for you it is because you were my first real friend yeah."

Sasori looked at Deidara. "Oh?" He blushed slightly and looked away.

Deidara looks over his shoulder at Sasori. "Are you blushing yeah?"

"No," he lied.

Deidara snickers. "You are so blushing yeah.

"So?" his face turned redder and he started pouting.

"Aw.. You are so cute when you pout yeah." Deidara's face takes on his famous grin.

"Ah, geez, quit it..." he put his hands on his face and rolled over away from Deidara.

Deidara is chuckling now and he sits up. "Aw 'Sori-chan is so cute yeah!"

"Damn you..." Sasori refused to uncover his face. He could feel the heat rushing up his spine in embarrassment and Deidara knew how to increase it.

The grin on grew on Deidara as an idea struck him. He went ahead and glomped Sasori. "But you are cute yeah!"

Sasori's eyes grew wide when Deidara pretty much tackled him in a tight hug. "I am NOT cute!"

"Yes you are, don't deny your cuteness yeah!"

"Why does everyone say that!?" He frowned as he struggled to get out from under Deidara's grip.

Deidara squeezes Sasori. "Because it is true yeah."

After much struggleing he finally gave up and let Deidara hug him. He sighed in defeat.

Deidara snickers and finally lets him go. It was no fun if Sasori didn't put up a fight.

When Deidara let go, Sasori took advantage and tackled the blonde. "HA!"

"ACK!" Deidara falls to the grass now. "Let go yeah!"

Sasori smiled smugly. "Why?"

"Because I'll do this yeah!" Deidara reaches up and starts tickling Sasori.

"HEY!" Sasori grew weak from the tickles and fell against Deidara and rolled over trying to get away.

Deidara gets the air knocked out of him when Sasori landed on him. He stops tickling so that he can concentrate on trying t breathe again.

Sasori felt releaved that the tickleing stopped and took the moment to take a breather himself.

Deidara sighs and stares back up at the stars, still laying on his back.

"So I was your first real friend?" Sasori raised a brow at Deidara.

Deidara just nods still staring at the stars.

"You're going to stop talking again?"

"I just got the air knocked out of me thanks to you yeah..."

"Are you mad at me?" He sat up and looked at Deidara strangely.

"I'm not mad at you. I'm just trying to get my breath back yeah." He takes a big gulp of air and then closes his eyes. "Besides I'm starting to get tired yeah..."

"Uh huh..." said Sasori as he laid back down on the ground. His arms up over his head.

Deidara gives a slight smile and looks back up at the stars. "It's like we're kids again yeah..."

Sasori chuckled. "Sure," he turned to look at Deidara. The blonde's hair was sprawled out all over the place. "Just a lot bigger and with more issues." He took a strand of Deidara's hair and started twirling it like he used to. They used to hang out a lot more, he thought to himself.

Deidara lets him play with his hair, being so used to it by now. "You always had issues yeah."

"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked curiously. He had a nice thick wrap of blonde hair around his finger by now.

Deidara snickers, "Besides you having issues with Mr. Hoot yeah? You always kept throwing him in some tree."

"Those were your issues," Sasori smiled. "I just instigated them." He started untwirling the hair.

Deidara looked at Sasori's hand. "Why do you always play with my hair yeah?

He paused. Why did he? "I don't know..." his brow furrowed. "Why?"

"Just wondering yeah. It's kind of girly."

"..." he yanked hard on Deidara's pony tail. "Girly!?"

"Ouch!" Deidara grimaces in pain. "I was only joking yeah!"

"Sure you were," he laid back again pouting. He continued to play with Dei's hair. He didn't think it was girly... was it? Nope. He'd always done it.... "Trying to imply something?"

"Not really yeah." He lets Sasori play with is hair and then lets out a yawn.

Sasori yawned as well in response. "Quit that."

"Why I'm tired yeah..."

"You're makeing me yawn," he said annoyed.

Deidara sit ups and stretches. "Well then maybe I should go to bed yeah."

Sasori felt Deidara's hair slip from his fingers when the boy sat up. "Alright," he said as laid idlly.

Deidara stands up and stretches again. "Just don't stay out too long yeah. You don't want to get sick again."

He sat up and sighed. "I might as well come in too." He stood up and dusted the grass off his jacket.

Deidara smiles and walks in. "Up to you yeah...." he lets out another yawn before disappearing into the house.

Sasori looked around the yard one last time. Breathing a mist from the chill air, he turned around and followed inside.
