I got home a bit late last night and had a surprise when I got in the door. Apparently TenTen was visting with Dei-kun. Needless to say, I ended up on the floor. It was good to see you too TenTen.
Sasori opened the unlocked door to the frathouse. Apparently someone at least was home. He slipped inside and proceeded to remove his shoes and trench coat.
Humming happily TenTen more or less skipped down the stairs as she was working on pinning her hair back into the regular buns. Having just completed one she had her mouth filled with needles as she reached the bottom of the stairs and noticed Sasori. Unable to hold back a squeal the needles fell forgotten onto the floor as she glomped him violently sending them both sprawling out on the floor. "SASORI!!!!!!!!"
Sasori laid wide-eyed on his back a bit shaken from the sudden attack. He blinked a few times before he realized who his assailant was. "Hello there."
Laughing gleefully she grinned at him as half of her hair fell down over her face as she got off of him and up from the floor. "Hi!" She replied cheekily as she went back to retrieve her needles.
Sasori sat up on the floor watching her before examining himself to make sure he didn't lose anything. After being satisfied, he finally stood from the floor with a slight grunt.
Going back to pinning her hair back she gave Sasori another grin. "Nice to see you back and no I didn't take any part of you off, though I should punch you for making Sakura worry."
He tilted his head. "She's not worrying now is she?"
"No, I've never seen her this happy to be honest and that feels great. Though now I'm more worried about you. Especially since Meimi wanted to see you." TenTen winced slightly at the thought of the older woman. "But never mind that right now. How was America?"
"It was America," he said with a shrug. "It truly didn't seem that different from here other than everyone spoke english instead of japanese."
"Geeez, that sounds thrilling. Did you do anything fun while you were there? "
He stood in thought for a moment. "I guess going to the museums was entertaining." He tapped his finger on his lips in thought. "There was of course a very amusing pass time of some of the New Yorkers called bum fights. They would sit near alleyways and bet on poor people fighting over food and clothing. A bit morbid but at times amusing."
She frowned slightly and shook her head as she took a seat on the stairs. "A bit morbid? Sounds more like... well more then just a bit. Well they're odd over there so I'm not even gonna pretend that I see the fun in that, might be better seeing it then just hearing about it."
Sasori smirked. "Actually, a lot of the bums over there are richer than us. That's what is so sad." He walked over to pick his bag up from when he fell. "They was an article in the newspaper saying that one fellow was found with over $300,000 on him, just from begging." He shook his head. "They hoard the money and don't spend it."
"Yaiks. Um, well that's nice, I guess. But still streetfighting over clothes and food doesnt sound all to fun. But then again I'm not the one to talk badly about fighting I know." Snickering she shook her head as well as she got off the stairs. "Anyway, I was just going to grab something to eat, wanna come?"
"Not this time," he said lifting up his bag. "I have things I need to take care of."
"Mou, Oh well I'm not gonna annoy you any more then." Snicking she walked over and pulled her boots and coat on and grabbed her own gymbag that stood by the door. "Next time though I'll make you come, whether you want it or not. Nice to see you again Sasori." Giving him a small smile she made her way out the door.
"Nice to see you to, TenTen," he said after she'd already left. He shook his head with a short laugh and made his way upstairs to get back to work.
