I just purchased a digital camera online from dell.com. Emily found a super-deal for me and I worked my magic and got one finally. I decided on the Canon A520 (better than the two I had mentioned previously) and picked it up for $227, which is at least $25 less than anywhere else, plus I got a free 256mb secure digital with the purchase. I think you are talented enough on your own...you don't need MTV to make a name for you...and besides, you wouldn't want MTV to make a name for you, because it wouldn't be you, it would be what they want you to be. I know the experience would be fun, but the negatives out weigh the positives.

I have actually given the real world some thought myself, seriously. That said, I think it would be unlikely for MTV people to pick me. My personality is too scattered and I would probably on some occasions just go for walks or spend time by myself. I think some parts of it would be absolutely cool like getting free shit, a posh living space, and maybe even the chance to meet My Bloody Valentine or Coldplay. But, I doubt it.
