This is the reason I'm not so happy right now:

Some $3,300 of financial aid that was promised to me in the Spring from UMM for the Fall Semester was taken away because my Dad made more money last year and they just figured this out. I did the SELF loan to finance my trip to England/Scotland. Their interest rates are manageable, and it's an easy way to borrow money. Not that anyone ever wants to borrow money, but if you have to do it, it's an easy way to do it.

Not that it makes you feel any better - sorry to hear about the crummy.

I took out SELF loans all four years and they suck ass for me -- they can't be consolidated, and the interest rates can change at any time. I'm going to start paying $230 a month ... on Thursday. Good thing I got a job. I would recommend checking out what loans you can consolidate, and then getting one of those. The SELF loan is easy, but kind of a pain when you have to pay it back.

Anyway. How are you, I'm fine. I have to do my laundry.
