I was also surprised to hear that I had been accepted earlier, but they didn't send out information right away or something stupid along those lines. And the big bang is that they only accepted 10 students this year, ( Read more... )

It was like I was telling you all along, you are so talented, they would be crazy if they didn't want you. Give them 2 days and they will love you so much they will want to keep you forever.

The direct spanish translation would be 'mano y mano' but then again I have never heard it used in an english or spanish context. I also didn't know what M.O. meant if you remember. Oh yeah, and we are going to have so much fun...I am about to burst with excitement!

Roommate!

Glad to hear it, you deserve it. Hope you have a great time and don't run into too many other Morris kids out there. Are you coming up to Morris before you head out?

I am indeed coming to Morris before Ireland. I plan on being there for Quarter Taps on Thursday, September 1st through Saturday. We better hang out and I want to see your new place.

Congrats on your success and give my best to professor Schultz. He was awesome.

I have never seen Kung FU hustle before, but i am confident that the dukes of hazzard can take it down.

Though I have not seen the Dukes of Hazzard, I am going to go out on a limb and say that it doesn't hold a... well.. anything to Kung Fu Hustle. It is the greatest movie of our generation. Ok... that's stretching it. But, it's good. Real good. I highly recommend it.

p.s. Are you serious? Is the Dukes of Hazzard really good?

Yeah, it is really good. I don't mean to pit against a movie that you have an affinity for. But, watching the Dukes of Hazzard is like going through a Kandinsky section of an art museum while listening to Loveless. Never before, at least going back to the start of the new millenium, has a movie created or even attempted to a synthesis of our conciousness with our secret motives. The Dukes of Hazzard is as elusive as it is breathtaking, and I think that is why the film speaks to so many.
