i originally made this icon a few days ago for a friend and she was curious about the coloring.
alot of VM caps are murder to get right, so i thought a tutorial might of some use.

i have a problem with desaturate - how can i do this?
my icon looks sooo terrible

'desaturate' is the same as 'remove color', depending on what program you use, because the labels can be different.

an easy way is to just select the layer that you want desaturated and hit (shft + ctrl + U)
