webster's new world college dictionary (4th edition) defines "lycanthropy" as:

"a mental disorder in which one imagines oneself to be a wolf".

does that seem... off... to anyone else? im not saying that i believe in werewolves, but someting about the definition seems awkward.

naw, they're just refering to the mental disorder that "supposedly" started the rumors of werewolves. I personally think it should include instructions for the destruction of a particularly nasty lycanthrope...
