My new happy place

So I found where to get myself a little sun: Sparrow Hills. For those not familiar with Moscow, this is a place a few metro stops south of us, on the other side of the river. They're fairly steep and are covered with trees, many birch trees with white bark, and there are little paths running through them, zigzagging down to the river. At the top

Yeah, Sparrow Hills is beautiful, especially at night. I know you're there for the sun, but at night you can see the lighted Moscow cityscape, really cool.

speaking of weather anomalies, interesting that the unusually warm winter follows last winter's deep freeze

when I was in Moscow I loved the view of the city from "sparrow hills" and was especially amused to see that massive structure for ski jumping
