i really did laugh out loud. :) "orange day" nearly made me blow coffee out my stuffy nose. (maybe it would have helped...)

these made me remember one of mine-- go out to lunch alone and build a relief sculpture on your plate from the bits you don't eat, preferably a creature with a face to greet the restaurant staff when they come to clear the table. order a huge dessert and tea.

Hooray for the lunch creature! And for nearly blowing coffee out your nose.

The lunch creature reminds me of when I created Sputnik for the lunch people. (Take apple, insert two dozen forks at random angles. Send through college lunch-dishes conveyor belt.)

Jenifer points out that I own almost nothing orange, and therefore I'd need to go naked. I submit that I could consider khaki "sufficiently orange." (See, loophole there.) But I bet Elizabeth could do a stand-up job of Orange Day.
