A book treat!! of a Persephone kind

 I was having a browse about the charity shops in Peebles, we have a fair few but not nearly as many Kings Heath in Brum!!!! I was looking for a particular book ,but of course couldn't find a copy. Instead I bought The Message to the Planet by Iris Murdoch for £1.75 (in the Cancer Research shop), my eye spied a copy of Chris Bohjalian's Midwives in
