Well, I'm back from my operation. We've got the belly button problem fixed up, and I'm as good as new. We went with the local anesthesia, meaning I was awake for the whole process, which didn't take more than 30 minutes. All went well, of course.

How was your Christmas? Mine went as follows:

-Scored an XBox, with NFL 2K5 and NBA 2K5, as well as a casino game

-Also got a couple PC Games, including Pac-Man World 2, and Monopoly Casino.

-CD-Rom drive, to replace my old, busted one.

-And, the usual assortment of clothes.

Took a couple months longer than expected (or even wanted, for that matter), but my DSL is back, which means I return to LJ.

There's just too much stuff that's happened since my absence, and most of it you've already heard anyway, so I'll make this brief. Just checking in to let you know I'm back.

Next time you hear from me here, I'll be in a different part of Iowa.

Parents came home early this week. We're making final preparations to move into our new house in Elcart, in the central portion of Iowa. We leave tomorrow, so I'll be sure to give you a report when we get there.
