"depravity and disappointment!" cried the needles and pins

Then again, a clover's only a plant....

For what it's worth, tonight, nobody seemed ridiculously broken by losing the postseason, and that was good to see. It's disheartening, but there's a lot to be proud of, too. Elly's had a stellar comeback year - better than anybody could have expected, I think. Kendall's said so many times this is the best ( Read more... )

the angels are going to hell

I hate you you almost made me cry a father shouldn't do that to his child.

Still stand by my resolve that it really was perfect now that I've seen another dugout besides the one populated by all you fools. :)

says who?! i've got the hatteberg manual of good parenting on my lap right this second, and it says i can make my child cry if i dern well please. so open the floodgates, offspring.

the thing that's not supposed to happen is when some little bratty child makes his dad cry with a lot fewer words. so shut up! i need help. you call me a fool and i get all wishywashy. wth. come slap me.

well, i tried, but i may have been wrong in my assumption that it didn't hit too hard. you sounded pretty down. i assure you, there was absolutely nothing lacking in your performance, angel. so chin up, okay? i'd miss your smirk if i didn't see it for like an hour.

TOTALLY. next year, we're chasing the angels outta california. they'll have to be the "former los angeles angels of anaheim now located in nevada" or something else ridiculously long.

well, i'm not a poet, but it's heartfelt. *shrug* we really did accomplish a ton when you think about it. i wanted to keep bragging on everybody, but i got this feeling everybody'd stop reading halfway through if i just kept listing stuff.

you interested in showing me some postseason love? i'm trying to impose on everyone's evenings at some point or another. whenever you're free, i'd be happy to make room for a night out with the chavster.
