Got swept by the Rangers (in a 4 hour game on just about the gloomiest day in recent history, stuck waiting out a "rain delay" so we could try for a 9-run comeback in our remaining half-inning... yeah, that's gonna happen), only to go on the road next where we seem to have this consistent ittybittytiny

haha, you're really worried about playing us? the way we've been going, we'll be lucky to win one game in the series. yeah, this whole 7 games under .500 thing really isn't much fun. feel your pain, man, feel your pain.

yes, i was worried about playing you guys, seeing as i think we may have been the only team in major league history to ever be 500 games under 500, though the way that series went now eludes me. funny how you can forget things so quickly, isn't it?

anyway, i'm very pleased to report things did get better for me. way way WAY better because my friend nicky bought me a kitten which is the cutest thing i have EVER SEEN. had to brag, there. i'm proud of my little mel. i'm gonna put a picture of him on my journal now because i'm just demented that way.
