Memory, Sorrow, and Mars

What a week or two it’s been. Technology has made me its chew toy several times over, and I’ve been smacked in the face by piping-hot anxiety attacks fresh from the neurological oven. It's never fun, is it? I recently had cause to go through some old Livejournal posts (looking for something I remembered writing but hadn't tagged) from when I was in a difficult relationship and it was absolutely heart-breaking to read how desperately unhappy and scared I'd been then - and then looking further back to being in the first flush of love and seeing how it all fell apart.

Hopefully Future Scott will be strong enough to go through it all and remember the good times more than the bad.

Glad you made it to Worldcon. I thought you did a great job moderating the violence in fantasy panel, and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to do more than say a very brief hello.

I've just completed a short move myself, and its never easy. Good luck, and if you need a hand, I'd be happy to pitch in.

Good to see you briefly at WorldCon and glad you made it up to the BWB party. Martha and I only made it to one panel the entire con, Why Fantasy Dominates SF (or whatever the actual name was), but it was an excellent time thanks to you and your fellow panelists.

Best of luck with the move. That's never an easy process.

Hi! I bounced here by way of Boing Boing's recent post on your takedown of your critic, and then read the beginning of Queen of the Iron Sands, and then read an interview you gave. 1-2-3 cha cha cha. Fella, you can write. I'm gonna enjoy reading it all. Keep up the good work!
