The kid is hitting the notes, but there's no music to the performance.

I'm inclined to agree, for the most part, although she does get into it in places in that Rush song. I think, given the age of the kid and the complexity of the instrument, she's falling into the same general category as the dancing bear: it's not so much that it can dance well, but that it can dance at all. And she did do the arrangement herself, as well. No mean feat.
