This is a pretty good story on how the Pirates of the Caribean attraction is changing at WDW and Disneyland. I'll give everyone MY opinion after I am let on the ride itself

This is the first I've heard of the 1997 changes being reversed, and that's really great news. I'm still not a fan of adding Jack Sparrow to the attraction, but it kind of sounds like if they were going to do it, they may have done so in the least obtrusive way possible.
I don't like the addition of the movie music either. I love the original music, and it doesn't seem like the movie soundtrack would blend very well with it.
The new bride is Disneyland's Haunted Mansion is maybe worse than all of this, though. Completely doesn't fit the tone of the ride. If they want to add new effects to the mansion they should replace the cheap rubber spiders and maybe figure out how to use modern technology to make the Hatbox Ghost work like they originally wanted.
