FYI- I read through the entire book you gave me and I really love it. It's just full of great wisdom and philosophy and is a great book to have on hand. I have it displayed on a shelf now because the title "The Knitting Goddess" is so appropriate for me :)
Since before I was lucky enough to have you on my FL, I have always thought of you as The Knitting Goddess. That's why I initially emailed you about my dilemma...you were the first person I thought of who might help me. And you DID, too! Thank you! So the minute I saw it,I felt like that book was sitting on the shelf waiting for me to buy it for you. I'm so glad you enjoy it.
I miss you too, honey. I keep trying to get a phone call in to you when I won't wake you, but I know you know you are always in my thoughts and prayers.
My Love,
Cheri
Say, what's with all the IP addresses after our comments? I don't remember seeing that before. Or maybe I missed it?
Do you have my cell phone number? I'm just about to take off for the weekend up to the mountains where cell phone reception is spotty if you can get a carrier at all. But I do have voice mail on it, so you can always leave a message.
Cheri! Yay! Listen, honey, nobody thinks your life is boring. It can't be boring because it's YOUR life, dear, and we love you.
Re: the cat thing--I know Kobii can never be replaced, but there is no way to describe the comfort that my other babies have been to me in dealing with my loss of Trouble*. I agree it can wait until after your Dad doesn't need you anymore, but I really think that "Scotti without Cat" is just wrong on so many levels that it can't be a permanent thing!
*I guess I'm still dealing, because I dreamed Punky died last night. :(
I felt so bad for you when you lost Trouble. You know, I'm starting to think I might be a bit *nuts....it's been over a year and I still tear up if I start talking about what happened with Kobii. So of COURSE you are still dealing. Himself and the other babies will, I think, help you to deal better and sooner than I have.
I'm sure that when the time comes, my feelings will change and Punky will have two new cousins. :D
Love you, darling!

* probably this is not news to any of you, but I like to think I'm just eccentric. :D
Hell, Cheri, I can still tear up thinking about putting my dog Mikey to sleep and that's been probably 8 years. So you tearing up over Kobii after a years isn't the clearest indication of your sanity or lack thereof. :D
