Interesting marketing strategy......

They are advertising that show on A&E called "Intervention" by calling it "the most talked about show on TV."

Do you think they are hoping that no one will notice that this is not necessarily a GOOD thing? And, from what I have heard, in this case it is NOT a good thing.

Hmm... Isn't that how they advertised the American version of Coupling? Didn't that get cancelled after 3 episodes?

I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised.

THIS one should have followed suit, from what I have read, but so far it is still being advertised so I assume it is still on air.

Why, I haven't a clue.

...a show called Intervention, "the most talked-about show on TV"...

If that doesn't start the theme from The Twilight Zone playing in your head, nothing ever will.

LOTS of things start that theme playing in my head.

Sometimes I think my whole life is just one VERY LONG episode of that show. Other times, I think it is one VERY LONG episode of an amalgam of numerous sitcoms.

I'm an equal opportunity idiot. :D

Yeah, that's sorta like saying, "People compare my piano playing to Van Cliburn. They say, 'Van Cliburn is a great pianist, but you really suck!'"

Heh. I had an art teacher who compared me to da Vinci. What he actually said was, "Da Vinci, you ain't."
