I'll talk to Barb about how much we can donate.

It's not a question of "will we", it's a question of "how much."

We love you.

You might be behind but you appear to be ahead of your teammates!

Happy to help.

I know. The bulk of the fund raising for our team has always been my family, and we've been pretty busy. With dad's situation, and then I just realized that I forgot to post it, but my niece had her baby June 4th. It was an easy pregnancy, but she had a really rough time with the birth, and she still can't walk without difficulty. She got REALLY ripped up. So anyway, we've all been a bit preoccupied so far this year. BTW, this niece is the eldest daughter of the brother I lost to cancer.....so it has been an even more joyful than usual time for us. He would have been so proud! Stuart Nelson [lastname] is absolutely perfect, and he has the cutest little baby ears I have ever seen! So far, he looks like his grandpa Rob. And I might, just MIGHT, finally have my little redhead! It looked like Noah, the last nephew born, was going to be....but his is turning blonde ( ... )

Totally off-topic...I don't know if you still keep in touch with her or not, but I thought you might want to know that wicky/Rose is having her baby (a girl this time!) in about 2 weeks. :)

I haven't heard from her in AGES! How are they all doing? Give her my love....I think about her every time I open the fridge. She sent me a pic of the twins, and I have it posted on my fridge door.

Well...I feel kind of hesitant about doing that. I actually feel kind of pushy about posting this at all, but....it is really important to me. Losing mom and Rob.....and several other people I loved dearly....to cancer? It makes me so sad. And I know that some people have issues with the ACS, but what I like most about it is the research. There are other cancer organizations that do good things, but I am committed to finding a CURE so other families won't have to go through what we went through. I can't tell you how awful that year was.

Thank you for your donation, honey. I appreciate it so much.

And I'll do as you suggest and post again just before the Relay. I don't want to be pushy, but then again....the people who love me know better and the people who don't probably already think they have reason to despise me......so ""shrugs""

"....the people who love me know better "

Exactly right. Post away and good luck with your fundraising!
