To Drop, Or Not To Drop....That Is The Conumdrum

Once again I find myself thinking about my work load in the fan fiction community, and that I really should wrap up/drop some things to have more time to actually make regular contributions to the scores of titles I have at the moment. Or move to more collaborations where I'm only scripting or plotting or at least working with someone else. The

The longer you wait on a title, the less likely you'll be able to complete it

Drop what you have to, I think just be upfront about it. Also this is an observation but perhaps cutting back on all the Facebook games you play could be a good way to get rid of the distractions. Plus just get to writing, once you hit a groove it will go.

Very good point. I went through and looked at when I last had some titles updated, and a lot of them are close a year. That's not really good. I have ideas, but like said there are always ideas. Some just are coming out. I mentally revamped Champions but still it's not coming and it's been sort of a struggle from day one both times I've tried it. Perhaps it's time to set it aside for the moment and just work on Nova as that I have more excitement for but I let Champions not working out get in the way. Already cutting a few titles soon with Avengers involvement ending and Champions for Reborn just needing a finishing issue at some point or pulling it or such.

Facebook games are indeed a vice that I need to work out something with. They don't take a lot of time, but I get distracted by everything else on the net besides writing most of the time.

Drop anything you haven't written a new issue for in a year. I'd say it's safe to say that if you haven't written anything for that title in that long, it's because you don't want to. Don't fight with your subconscious. It's smarter than you are.

It's smart enough to be running laps around me. Looking at the list I made like Dino suggested, I found a few titles I'm going to drop, sadly Champions being one of them. I'll talk to Hunter or such about just taking down the last issue and leave the first six issues up. Gonna talk to Hunter and see about rebooting Nova because I got suck on this first arc cause I started doing something I didn't want to do for some reason and then got stuck. I have a clearer vision to get it to the point of being in space like I want. Either going to find a scripter for the STarjammers mini for M2K or just drop it, cause it's been almost two years since any movement

Another suggestion for the future is don't overplot. Keep things a bit more loose, at least for now.
