So today I was going to go with X-Men the Animated Series, cause well it's just awesome. Unfortunately it seems that all video clips of the intro have the sound taken away for copyright or such. So just blank video with no sound. Sort of takes away from the awesome stuff. And I couldn't find clips of episodes that I could mark as favorites, so I

I've got all the episodes of this but have never managed to get more than a few minutes into the first episode (where Peter is about to ask a girl out).

I just can't stand the art style for the noses, I find them completely off-putting.

I know what you mean, the art style was off putting to me at first. I eventually managed to ignore it cause the stories were enjoyable.

Actually, the show wasn't cancelled because of the Disney acquisition of Marvel. The series stopped production and its future was dependent on season two's ratings as well as the DVD sales. Then Sony returned the television rights to Marvel in September of 2009 and no one knew what was going to happen with the show. Disney didn't acquire Marvel until December. Then the decision to cancel it was made because Marvel and Disney wanted to do a series based on Ultimate Spider-Man to be released in fall 2011.

Ah yeah I recall reading something about the ratings, but hadn't realized they returned the rights to Marvel. Knew about Marvel and Disney deciding to do Ultimate, and soon as I heard that figured Spectacular would go since it was produced by Sony and even though they could have moved it to Disney it would be easier to start their own. In that vein I can't blame them for doing their own, as it is always easier sometimes to start your own thing than carry on others. At least in TV business.
