Notes: This is for the 1 sentence challenge over at
1sentence 01. Comfort - Kurt could still remember the first time that Finn had offered to hold his expensive jacket for him after weeks of being tossed into the dumpster - it was a ray of comfort in his hour of shame.
02. Kiss - Kurt dreams of kissing Finn, wondering how soft his lips actually are, and how he would taste.
03. Soft - When Finn touches him, on the shoulder or the arm, giving him a pat on the back, Kurt is always acutely aware of how soft his touch is.
04. Pain - When Kurt finds out that Quinn is pregnant, he almost laughs, because she deserves it, but when Rachel tells him the baby is Finn's, the pain is nearly unbearable.
05. Potatoes - Kurt really hates his home economics class, but when Finn comes over and asks him how to properly peel a potato, he thinks he might just like it a little bit more.
06. Rain - He's always loved the rain, and watching Finn run around in a soaked football jersey is definitely not half of the reason why , although it is a plus.
07. Chocolate - When Kurt looks at Finn for the first time, the first thing he remembers thinking is that his eyes are like melted chocolate.
08. Happiness - He often finds himself wondering what true happiness really is, and if he'll ever find it.
09. Telephone - Once, when they were younger, Kurt had tried to convey his feelings toward Finn through a game of telephone; Finn was quite confused as to how "I like poo" had anything to do with anything.
10. Ears - The fist time that Finn sings for the club, Kurt can hardly believe his ears - for someone with no musical training, he sounds beautiful.
11. Name - The first time that Finn attends Glee Club, Kurt is pleasantly surprised when he knows his name.
12. Sensual - Finn has always struck Kurt as a sensual person, and the more he gets to know him, he realizes that he's right.
13. Death - Sometimes, Kurt likes to go into his mother's room and lay down on the floor, just smelling her; it makes her death just a little more bearable.
14. Sex - When Finn comes to him one afternoon, his breath smelling of alcohol, and presses their lips together roughly, the consequences are the last thought on Kurt's mind.
15. Touch - Kurt can't help himself - as soon as Finn's shirt is off, he immediately runs his hands over his chest, just wanting to feel him.
16. Weakness - When Finn kisses him and tells him that he is his weakness, Kurt can't help but believe him.
17. Tears - When Kurt wakes up later and finds Finn missing, he can't help the tears that sting at his eyes; he should have known better.
18. Speed - That's all he can think about as he drives down the dark interstate - he has to go faster, has to get away from his own thoughts.
19. Wind - The windows are down, and the wind tosses his hair about furiously as he goes faster and faster, eyes fixed on the road in front of him.
20. Freedom - Driving has always calmed him down - the open road always makes him feel free; free from judgment, from hiding, from Finn.
21. Life - Kurt thinks about his life, getting lost in the glare of headlights, and wonders what it would be like if he'd never met Finn, or his mother hadn't died.
22. Jealousy - He hates Rachel; when he makes it back to school the next day, she's hanging all over Finn, and he wishes desperately that he was in her stead.
23. Hands - Finn has avoided him all day, and when it comes time to rehearse, Kurt allows their hands to brush as they both reach for the sheet music.
24. Taste - He can almost taste the tension as Finn's eyes shoot up to meet his for a split second before he grabs the sheet music and retreats to the other side of the room.
25. Devotion - During rehearsal, Kurt's eyes search out Finn's face every two minutes, and he knows that as long as he is so devoted to Quinn, he won't have a chance in the world.
26. Forever - Kurt wonders if his heart will hurt like this forever - it feels like it sometimes.
27. Blood - He wishes, sometimes, that he wasn't the way he was; it would make things a whole lot easier, but it's in his blood.
28. Sickness - The next day, Kurt feigns illness to get out of going to school, because he doesn't want to deal with Finn today.
29. Melody - He hums a simple melody that he doesn't know the name of, but his mother used to sing to him as a child.
30. Star - When he was younger, all he wanted was to be a star, but know he's found that his deepest desire has changed, and that pains him greatly.
31. Home - Even home doesn't provide the amount of comfort it usually does, and he finds himself wishing that he was anywhere else.
32. Confusion - He hates the way that Finn looks at him now; their eyes meet and there's some sense of shame and confusion.
33. Fear - Kurt is afraid of what this has done to their friendship - he hadn't meant to ruin what they had.
34. Lightning/Thunder - That night as Kurt lies awake, he watches his room light up with lightning and listens to the low rumble of thunder.
35. Bonds - When Kurt watches them from afar, he can see the invisible bond holding Quinn and Finn together.
36. Market - He loves going to the market - it gets his mind off things, and he is glad it's the weekend.
37. Technology - Kurt's phone buzzes, and when he says the caller ID, he groans, "Fuck technology."
38. Gift - It's almost Christmas, and Kurt is surprised when a note falls out of his locker, 'Meet me inside the auditorium for a special gift.'
39. Smile - That day, Kurt can't keep the smile off his face in anticipation of his gift after school.
40. Innocence - When Finn steps out of the shadows in the auditorium after school with nothing but innocence and uncertainty shining in his eyes, Kurt feels that familiar surge of affection in the pit of his stomach.
41. Completion - Finn kisses him, and Kurt feels a sense of completion like he's never known.
42. Clouds - Kurt feels like he's walking on clouds, and he's never been happier.
43. Sky - When they walk together after, conversing quietly about what this means for their relationship, Kurt's eyes continue to be drawn to the sky.
44. Heaven - "Do you believe in Heaven?" Finn asks, and Kurt nods because he has to believe that, if nothing else.
45. Hell - He's always been told that Highschool is hell, and he'd believed it until now; if this was Hell, then Finn must be his Virgil guiding him through it.
46. Sun - Finally, school is out, and they spend all day together under the summer sun.
47. Moon - And when the sun goes down, they hold each other by the light of the full moon.
48. Waves - They take a trip to the beach, and Finn teaches him how to body surf on the waves.
49. Hair - That night as they lie together in the sand, Kurt runs his fingers lightly through Finn's hair, and he knows that this is right; this is how things are supposed to be.
50. Supernova - When he finally closes his eyes to go to sleep that night, he feels that if his heart were any fuller, it would explode - his own personal supernova.
