It's getting colder and I keep opening windows to keep the house at an uncomfortably cold temperature. I do this because it encourages cuddling, and as we all know I am a cuddle-whore. Maybe VCA's Newest Vet Tech Isn't Me.....
So I was offered the vet tech position and it was all YAY! But then they hired this girl who worked there a while back as a tech. Papa's funeral isn't going to be for a time, they are having a ceremony in Florida, which none of his side of the family can afford to attend. R.I.P. Papa
My Papa died Sunday. Yesterday. He is the grandfather from Kenilworth, who I lived with for ten years. He was 91 years old. I don't know why, but I am shocked. -
Let Down
WTF? I get promoted to tech and dropped from kennel and they schedule me in reception for the next two weeks. Not only do they not put me on the tech schedule BUT they schedule close/open/close/open, etc.... What the hell? Grr! I'm listed on our hospital roster as Kennel, Technician, and Reception. Sick
Ugh, I'm sick. I went to work tonight, but since (other) Kim is prego'ed and has to abort the pregnancy due to medical issues, her prego sickness seems to trump my cold. Still Mourning, but it's okay.
So, yesterday I did a bunch of yard work and cleaned around the house. I noticed Maire's box (the one containing her remains) had gotten pretty dusty, so I took some wood cleaner ans began dusting her. I don't know what hit me, but I just started sobbing.
