It took me forever to figure out that the power went out last night and that's why my TV and DVD player weren't on when I woke up. I feel special. Though I still don't remember leaving my bathroom light on when I went to sleep (though "went to sleep" is more like "fell asleep" and I can never be sure what I was doing when sleep struck).
Two Weeks
Technically, Wednesday will be the two week mark for my notations on diet, but I'm making observations today on account of my growing ankle/foot issue. I've noticed that I don't eat as much as I think I do, especially during weekends (which makes since because I get up a whole 4-5 hours later on weekends), but my choices are still very bad. I've also noted that I need to jump into drinking a lot more water than I do already.
My fridge really needs to be cleaned out at the moment, and once that is done, I'll jump into getting "good choice" groceries for the week. If I can get my mum on the band wagon, this will include a trip to Sam's to pick up lots and lots of smart water. I may pick up cereal while there too, and toilet paper, 'cause honestly, buying toilet paper at Sam's is one of the few items that makes sense to buy wholesale.
I did jump on the scale for the first time today--though I was already dressed for the day, so the number isn't reliable. But, yeah, not as bad as I thought but not good. I think I'll keep my mark on Wednesdays since I know I'll have to get up on those days to weigh in evenly. For the next two weeks I'll be keeping up with calories now. I'm hoping at the end of the 2 weeks I won't need to count calories and have a baseline of what I can and can't eat in a day, but who knows. Journaling the results seemed to help me last year, and so maybe I should just make sure I keep with it.

Dammit why is Wall-E coming out on the 27th? Bobert has his birthday thing and I have a final paper due and an exam at 8am the next day!

My goal for the weekend is to be completely caught up with everything that needs to be caught up with. This includes cleaning, homework, club/con stuff, work stuff (oh, fail already!), and um...packing stuff. I don't know. There is one thing about procrastinating, which I don't mind, but it's something else to be perpetually behind, and that I hate. Wish me luck.
