doctors say she has a blocked
corroted artery
and will probably
need surgery else
she will have a
stroke.

I dont feel
very good right
now.

i'm sorry to hear that. it'd be awesome if she didn't need surgery, but if she does, you can be sure she'll be in my thoughts. and well, she will be anyway. health scares are never any fun.

After spending the last hour or so researching what this really means, what is involved in the fix and what the risks are i have a very clear understanding of what is going on...I guess it doesn't seem as serious any more, of course knowledge and logic do little with matters of family and emotion.

I understand. Back when I was living the lie that was myself and Erica, she had to get surgery because there was a nodule on one of the glands in her neck. It was almost certainly benign, and conventional wisdom told me not to worry too much, but I was horrified. The very thought of losing someone you love is horror enough...conventional wisdom or not. I know where you are and you have my deepest sympathy/empathy.
