When the Great Tao was abandoned,
There appeared humanity and justice.
When intelligence and wit arose,
There appeared great hypocrites.
When the six relations lost their harmony,
There appeared filial piety and paternal kindness.
When darkness and disorder began to reign in a kingdom,
There appeared the loyal ministers.

You know...i just wanted to say it's been really nice having you in my LJ...

It was partially your doing that i started to post the daily Tao and it's really been a soothing and calming experience for me. I only hope that the others who read these are getting something from them as well...

The method i have use for actually choosing which to post has been just opening the book...so often its just what i needed to read...I love how it seems to work out like that.

It's been cool having you in my LJ, too. Don't credit me for your postings. The Tao has always been inside you, I'm merely on the same path. I too read the Tao that way in times of trouble. It's wonderful how the teachings of Lao Tze can apply to any situation on any given page.
