I'm proud of the United States for the recent award of the Nobel Peace Prize to our president.

Yeah, I'm right there with you. Proud of the US and the president but at the same time feeling this article a lot. I believe that his efforts deserve some recognition but it is too early for a Nobel Peace Prize. Perhaps in a couple of years when the effects of his presidency are better known. I believe that he has been an inspiration and that it is as much his charisma as anything else that is inspiring the potential for peace. I just don't think we've had the time to see if it'll pan out yet. It is rather patronizing at this point and would have meant a lot more in a few years if things progress from here.
