Dear LJ Genie,

scottsch and I will be out of town starting from Sept. 7th and going through the 16th. We have this adorable pet who needs a little TLC while we're gone. Jacob has this story about some Asian family where the daughter asked the dad to watch her dog and the dog was misbehaving so the father cooked and ate the dog. Therefore, you should be concerned that someone would acquire Kronos for culinary purposes.

Wow! He's huge!

And KEWT!

If I didn't have felinoids, I'd offer to host him for a while.

(I can't believe he's NEVER pinched you, what a sweety! I had one latch on to that spot between the thumb and index finger once,...held on for a good hour, at least. Good times.)

He has never pinched snarkyshark2, but he did pinch me once. It was light and I was more surprised than anything.

So wait. Are you saying that if I take care of Kronos, I get to sleep with scottsch?

I have turtles, but they stay in their tank. Do you have a travel tank for Kronos?

I'd have to double check with the boyfriend, but may be able to help.
Will let you know maybe tonightish.

Thanks! This might be a pain for you to take on the bus, though. We would give you Kronos in his full tank (with sand), which weighs, um, 10 pounds? 20?

Let me know what your boyfriend says.

So silly me forgot and was just reminded by the boy about a Vegas trip that this will overlap. So, as your baby(crab)sitter would have to find another baby(crab)sitter for a couple of the days, I'm gonna hafta withdraw my offer. Sowwy!

Hey, I could probably do this. We don't have any pets or throw any crab-endangering parties, and fuzzbean will be out of town; I don't have any travel plans over that period.

Great! You live in Culver City, right?

Palms, but yeah, near Venice and Overland, at the edge of Culver City. I'd post my address here, but who knows what kind of scoundrels populate your friends list?

I think I have a pretty good idea.

Ok, we can drop off Kronos some time next week. Does that sound good?
