When I got home last night there were cars filling all the spots at the top of the street, including in front of my place, so I ended up parking down the block. This morning I just headed out uphill to catch the bus, didn't look around

Nice to see the community coming together, maybe they'll actually catch the dirtbag. When I used to drive my 76 volvo sedan I had a bad habit of just leaving it unlocked, on the theory that it was too ugly, too cheap and too old for anyone to bother with. The problem that I didn't consider at the time(high school) was that the car ran well and I'd have a hell of a time finding another in the same price range to replace it if someone did steal it.
