Mac-Head Question

Nov 29, 2007 12:30

So... Iain and I have a joint calendar which he maintains and I subscribe to via iCal and through .Mac

Is there a way that I can make changes to the calendar and then have those changes re-sync back through to his computer? (ie. making changes to details on an event, or something like that?).

Any help would be most appreciated.

Wish I could help. It sounds like the kind of thing that some carefully chosen Google keywords might help unlock.

My partner and I use NotMac. It basically acts sort of like .mac but is free!

Our calendars and address books sync up online. It's pretty awesome.

This is one of my (few) pet peeves about iCal. We have tried a variety of work-arounds, but finally settled on each of us having our own calendars which we both subscribe to.

That being said, this IS something you could do through Leopard, but allowing access to iCal files on one of your computers. You would have to agree to which computer to put the common calendar on, and allow the other person to access it remotely. I have not tried this, but you could make changes on the common calendar from any computer.
