They're, you know... good and stuff. All of their songs and albums do sound exactly the same, though, so I get tired of them quick. But they're just fun... 50's pop filtered through guitar mud and a Queens kid with a fake British accent.

the clash is cool. I have them on vinyl. the ramones ar good, and to answer your friends question, one of the main reasons why theyre popular because theyre one of the first punk bands from the US of A.

plus you arent like...totally punk rock untill you say you like them...even if you dont know their songs...
