I'm starting to learn guitar! It's quite difficult. I'm trying to learn how to play Falling For You, it sounds all wrong but it's really quite fun to try and learn to do. I'm interested in trying to learn piano, but I'm not sure where to begin on that one. Is it possible to learn piano by yourself? What about you guys, flist? Do you play an ( Read more... )

Cool, a good number of my friends know how to play the guitar though it doesn't seem for me. As for the piano? I remember foxhack asking something similar on OTT, so maybe the answer will help you?

I don't currently play anything, though I did the violin for five years and miss it(no real reason/time to play now).

I played alto sax for about three years, and was fairly good, but I quit to pursue art instead. It was really fun though, and being able to read music is always a handy skill. Plus, guitar players always get like +10 cool points, because guitars are awesome (I actually wish I knew how to play, but alas, I do not).

...Little Shop of Horrors. Where do I recognize that from? Tim Burton, I think?

Hm, I played baritone horn when I was in elementary school, but that doesn't count.

I always wanted to learn the piano, that'd be so cool.
