Rumor was that Xander was supposed to be gay, but studio interference and Seth Green's career goals changed plans quite a bit, and with Willow suddenly single, she was the one they went with. Honestly, it doesn't make a lot of sense at first (cuz I'm not sure bi people exist in Buffy, she's just totally, totally gay), but it gets really beautiful later on (and then it gets... very Whedon, and I won't say anymore cuz I don't know what you've already been spoiled on).

Aw, man, I just lost some respect for Seth Green :(

What Happens To Tara is the only thing that I've been spoiled in so far when it comes to Buffy, and Under Your Spell is such an amazing song.

Oh no! It's not that Seth Green wouldn't play Xander's boyfriend. Oz and Willow were always supposed to be together, what happened was Seth Green had the opportunity to go make movies, and he took it, so they wrote Oz out of the show. With Willow suddenly single, she was open to become the gay character (when they backed out on the plan with Xander).

It is a funny word, but that's not how I'd describe Buffy.

OMG! I love Brick. And I own the Geography Club.

And let me know where you are with Buffy because you and I are gonna have a long conversation. ;D

Heh, yes, I LOVE Brick, but I never had a copy and so I couldn't be like "Hey friends watch this!".

I just finished the Kendra two-parter. I gotta say, she works WAY better as a foil for Buffy then Cordelia, and she kicks ass :D

GOD YES! She's my all-time favorite Buffyverse character.

I think your brother is off base. You're a teenager, isn't that the horniest time of your life? That and after 65. I'd think in our modern day culture of general acceptance, you'd probably know by then ( ... )

After 65? My goodness, what kind of grandparents do you have o.O?

Oh, yeah, but you could describe her as, idk, Kitty Pryde without Emma Frost and her hardware skills, y'know? She didn't have the layers that the other Whedonladies have.

No, not my grandparents, it's just the elderly are pretty horny. ESPECIALLY old men. And you read some strange things in the paper.

Buffy does gain layers, though. She was still in the test drive phase, especially season 1, which was more about the concept than the character.

Dancing With Myself is an awesome song. Do you prefer the Billy Idol version or the Boomtang Boys version?

I'm glad things went well with coming out to your brother!

I got Showcase Presents: Superman Family and it is so, so cracky.

Billy Idol, definitely. I secretly love Billy Idol, despite only knowing him from parents who lived in the 80's, YouTube and the radio. The one I'm talking about, though, is Artie's cover from Glee.

OH MY GOD! I've heard about that, it was like a page of Superman trying to convince Supergirl not to run off with her pet/boyfriend and she gets a robot or something, and the blogger said that every page was as glorious as that.

Also, new laptop has french keys. It will be convenient for essays, I'm sure, but as of now, having to spend ten seconds looking on the keyboard whenever you want to make a bracket or an apostrophe is getting annoying.

IDK, I think it's mostly Jimmy Olsen stuff, from what I can tell. My brother said he opened it up to a page where Jimmy was punching a gorilla and Superman was cheering him on, so he decided it was to my taste (which it is).

Is the actual keyboard labelled differently or is it a change of settings? I know once in a while I've used public computers that are set to French and yeah, I can't ever find the apostrophe key.
