I'm afraid that's WoW. The random person berating you wasn't leading their own raid, probably didn't have the guts, yet he's happy to call you out on things that aren't your fault. Probably just frustrated at him time waste and deciding to vent at you. If you just ignore it, most he'll do is ignore you back

No, you're not wrong. I don't know the first thing about WoW but it sounds to me like the group were (a) not working together (b) not communicating properly (c) collectively not wanting to take any responsibility for anything. It also seems to me that the group member who sent the PM is incredibly immature and should perhaps look at his own abilities (or lack thereof) rather than point the finger at you. In your shoes, I'd be well pissed off.
