There is a picture book called David's Snowsuit by Robert Munsch. In it a little wise a@@ refuses to wear his snow suit because it is so horrendous looking. (its brown and yellow and lumpy) I was reading it to my second grade class and suddenly realized that David was the first owner of the twins horrible coat and some how it ended up in good will and is inflicting itself on a whole new generation. (check out the book)I almost cracked up in front of 19 children and thought I should share.
Well, I am really late, but recently, I haven't had the time to read anything other than one-shots, so I couldn't read your verse. Now, that I have the time, I read the complete verse again, and I was awestruck again. I loved the ending, you left it open-ended, and I love it, because life never really stops moving. Problems never go away, you just learn how to deal with them. Thanks for writing this beautiful verse again, and really sorry for the late comment:-)
