You know what's funny? A friend of mine had packed his bag and apparently it had been a while since he had gone away and when his baggage was checked the airport personnel found some sort of large drill bit in his bathroom bag. When security asked him to step aside they said to him, "Would you like to check this in and take it with you?" They won't let people take nail clippers, nail filers, or pens on the plane, but they asked him if he wanted to check in and take with him a 16" drill bit. Crazy.

"Excuse me sir, while checking your bags we found a lawnmower, 2 chainsaws and 2 kilos of plutonium. Im afraid this is all prohibited from going on our planes."

"But theyre all for.... ornamental purposes. Apart from the plutonium. Thats for my own personal use."

"Ahh ok then, sorry to bother you sir."

Sounds like Alex.
