I just found out that in Japan, they have cafes where you can buy tea and 'borrow a cat' from the cat section to pat while you drink tea and read a book.

they also have bunny cafes where you buy curry with rice that's been pressed into the shape of bunnies and then you go to a separate room (because bunnies are filthy) and you pet some bunnies.
