End of 2006 thing

Jan 02, 2007 11:08

Its been a full year since I last did one of these, I'm enjoying my first cup of tea in Glasgow of 2007 and, in case you're wondering, I havent got any biscuits to dunk in my tea. However we can't win them all!

I think I wrote somewhere I wanted 2006 to be a year of changes, out with the old and in with the new and do some general growing up. So ( Read more... )

£50 for a haircut?? I'm scarily obsessed with my hair looking perfect when cut and it being done well, but i'm not quite bad enough to pay that kinda money... Actually that's a lie if i had an extra £50 i'd spend it to get my hair done. But i've only even spent that sorta money getting my hair highlighted in the hairdresser (aka when i was getting rid of that hideous reddish colour)once it was light enough it was back to all over blonde dye which i can do for under a fiver.

Oh and midgies are evil things. It doesn't matter what you do in the summer those things are unavoidable, ick.

Sounds like ou had a pretty good year overall.

Happy New Year.

och i know, i was desperate and thought "50 is good for a once off" but i dont know if id do it again, i usually pay 60 for a colour and cut in motherwell but i couldnt get there in time for christmas. Felt a bit of a zombie with all the study so decided to treat myself and punish my purse!

Once I rubbed my eye and a midgie fell out of it! True story!

sorry, about that weird random comment, half my keys on the laptop weren't working, was randomly pressing keys to try and get them to work and hit post by accident. I'm such a ditz.

Anyway, what i intended to say is it's bad if you pay that sort of money and the haircut isn't done well. That's something i've seen a lot of, you pay more money but can get a haircut that's done better for much cheaper. Like with everything else, a dearer aircut doesn't always mean better. Did yours turn out good? I stick to Flicks in wishaw, i like how they do my hair.

And that's just plain horrible, a midgie in your eye? How the hell did that happen?

It was okay, kinda how it used to be in high school, shoulder length and curly. Ive had it so many different lengths and I've yet to really find one I just want to stick with!

I usually go to crichtons in motherwell, the guy thats in there used to work for the rainbow rooms in town and gives really unusual cuts. Although he will talk about his weekend of dressing up as a drag queen. But theres always one eh?

I dunno, I wish i did. :(
