Ah but remember, it is easier to be happy and feeling complete when you are settled in something with few worries, for example a university student when you know how things are, what to do and where you are going. Now...now you dont really know where to go or what to do, you have been flung out into a vast world of tumbling possibility and facing the terrors of the unknown with no clear goal or end in sight.
It gets more...complex...after university.

I really am starting to think you've infected me with autumnal melancholy. This time last year I was struggling through a torrid placement, and today I am in the foulest of moods. Yet it is more than that, for I know what has angered me today (20 shitty little S2 pupils), but not what bothered me at the turn of the week.

Perhaps it is all Coupland's fault, I just read his latest (The Gum Thief, pretty good).

Perhaps I just need to see my friends again. It's been too long.
