Last weekend my sweetie was generous enough to buy me one of the Shun folded steel japanese chef's knives I had been drooling over. Last night, I had the chance to finally test it while making Gyudon for the family

I have heard of knives of such power. They are usually fabled to dwell deep within the bowels of ancient Japan and used by the most skilled Omi demons...or...you know in Japantown somewhere...I dunno...but congrats on the knife of near-mystic fable qualities.
