Any of you girls use it? How does it interfere with sex? I mean, its kinda big and theres not a while lotta room in there....

Meh, I've heard too many IUD horror stories... the nuvaring seems to be the best for non complications while still being low dose. I'll probably try an IUD if I need something that will last years

You can take it out for up to 3 hours the same way you can take a pill up to 3 hours late, I think. Also, you don't need to leave it out for a week, I think you can just put a fresh one in and skip the bleeding like you do by skipping sugar pills.

Here's my weird question: if a person goes down on you do they, like, eat estrogen?

I like the idea of the ring because it doesn't get processed through your liver, and I can't have orgasms on bc pills and it can permanently lower your libido to have that stuff go through your liver.

Yea, being on the pill did lower my libido. If this won't that's a huge plus.. cause if it did I'd stop taking it and put up with condoms, which I hate.

I really doubt going down on someone with the ring in would make you absorb anything... unless I guess you're licking the ring, which would be impossible :P

actually you do have to take it out. It says in the booklet that comes with every one of them, that you can't use it to have period skips and it will not be an effective contraceptive.

aw that sucks! ah well, I don't really mind periods... that IS odd though, I thought it acted just like the pill

i've met 2 girls who got pregnant using it within about 2 months of being on it. i know there's always pregnancy risk but that seems a bit more risky to me.

i've been on the evra patch for about 3 months and i really like it. i don't bleed as much, my sex drive is steady, with only a slight increase in headaches.

it's kinda like trial and error sort of thing. but you should talk to your doctor.

hmm i've never had much problem with increased appetite with hormonal BC... and my boyfriend finds it really creepy so I think I'll be taking it out for sex hahaha.
