I agree about the "social energy" being off at this tournament. Probably largely due to a lot of people (like us) staying offsite.

Yeah, the after-hours room was about as empty as I've ever seen it. Definitely due to the ridiculous price of staying on-site. We should have nationals in Reno again.

vegas should be better due to its cheap room rates, tho also worse in that there are six million things more appealing to do in vegas than sit in the riviera after hours room.
