Day 4 : In Which Not Much Gets Done (So What Else is New?) Except for the Internet
I swear, I was planning to go to one of the museums I talked about on my last post, but something legit came up and ruined the rest of the day :(
You know that Lady Gaga concert in Jakarta that got cancelled? Yeah, I was supposed to see it last week. But thanks to our local religious fascists, I had to say goodbye to my dream of seeing her live on stage. It was a dream that I, along with 52.000 other people, had been secretly wishing to come true for two years. Fuck you, fascists. So, that show was cancelled and, apparently, I had to return my ticket today. Not only that, I had to pick up my friend's ticket (he was supposed to go to the show with me) and returned his too because he was working and I wasn't, and I'd pass by his office on my way to the ticket person, so yeah.
TL;DR long story short, religious fascists ruined my life AND the fourth day of my holiday. Again, I can't stress this enough, FUCK YOU, FASCISTS.
I ended up hanging out at my old office instead, because it was close and there was free wifi and no parking meter... and I missed my work team after three days of holiday, lol. What is my life? /0\ Tomorrow, tho. I want to go to the National Museum tomorrow.
I did start uploading and captioning old vacay photos from three years ago, so yay! At least I did something today :3
Also, I've been watching a lot of Felicia Day's video logs on geekandsundry.com these days. She does this Fave Five segment in her vlogs where she shares five interesting things she loves each week. I love it! Thanks to that segment, I get to check out cool, albeit useless, things that are happening on the internet. I love it so much, I want to do it too (you totally didn't see that coming, did you?). But I'm calling mine "Cool Shit I've Missed" instead because I'm always late to finding awesome things on the internet :|

The Lizzie Bennet's Diaries
It also happened that I found out about this web series from Felicia Day's The Flog *lazy*. But it's really cool, you guys! It's a modern-day adaptation of Pride and Prejudice in 5-min video format. Lizzie Bennet is a grad student majoring in Mass Communications. She runs the web series with her bff, Charlotte, who is an art or IT student. Jane Bennet works in fashion and Lidya is in high school, I think? Mrs. Bennet is a southern belle who wants to marry one of her daughters to Bing Lee, the new, rich med student (intern?) in the block. Darcy is, apparently, a pretentious hipster (redundant!) who probably listens to dubstep. Lulzy shit. It doesn't hurt that the girls who play the Bennet sisters are also very easy in the eyes (It's really not a secret that I have a thing for red-heads <3 If it is, it shouldn't be).
