What size are her paws? You can get a general idea of how big a cat will get from that.

Ellie sounds like a lot of fun.

Her paws are pretty small. If she is a Turkish Angora, they are between 6 and 9 pounds. Ellie is 6.2 pounds, but she's too thin for her body length. She's pretty long, and her tail is about as long as her body.

I am so, so, SO glad she YELLED(!) at you. And the inquisitive/must-investigate-EVERYTHING sounds hilarious.

Hmm. How to discourage her from jumping up onto the counter (which would also entail you sanitizing it 24/7), how about sprinkling the edge with black pepper that would be disturbed and make her sneeze?

Wishing you many wonderful years together.

I put some disposible aluminum pans on the counter. They make noise she doesn't like when she touches them. She only got on the counter once. She hasn't tried again.
